What these terms cover
Goodfriend Solutions, LLC makes apps for platforms including iOS, macOS, and Windows, and operates this website. These terms cover your use of our apps and this site. Individual apps may add specific terms, shown in the app or on its store listing.
Your license
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use our apps on devices you own or control, subject to these terms and to the terms of the platform you install them on (such as the Apple App Store or Microsoft Store).
Subscriptions and billing
Some of our apps are free; others are paid or offered on a subscription. Paid apps and subscriptions are billed through the platform's store. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless canceled before the renewal date. Manage or cancel a subscription in your store account. Refunds follow the store's standard policy.
Your data
Wherever possible, our apps keep the data you create on your device, and we have no access to it. Back up your device if you want to protect that data. We cannot recover data lost due to device failure, deletion, or app removal.
What we ask of you
Use our apps for their intended purpose. Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, redistribute, or create derivative works based on them, and don't use them for any unlawful purpose.
Permissions
Our apps may request system permissions (such as Contacts or screen recording) that are needed for their features. By granting a permission, you confirm you have the right to use the information involved. Our apps use these permissions only for the features they're described for, and never upload that information to us except as needed to provide a feature you've asked for.
Disclaimer of warranties
Our apps and this website are provided "as is." We work hard to make them reliable, but we cannot guarantee they will be free of errors, interruptions, or data loss in every situation. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Goodfriend Solutions, LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Goodfriend Solutions, LLC's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of an app or this site is limited to the amount you paid for that app or subscription in the three months preceding the claim (or, for a free app, fifty U.S. dollars).
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Collier County, Florida.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post significant changes here and, where relevant, note them in an app's release notes. Continued use of our apps or this site after an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
